This kinda surprised our people here at the station, me included. The "behind the scenes people" that make the broadcasts happen made a check of the BCHL website playoff bracket and it showed that Game 3 of the series is now going to be THURSDAY in Nanaimo.
After a couple phone calls I found out the reason - there is already an event happening Friday night at the Frank Crane Arena.
A little surprising that this news didn't come out ahead of time as I'm sure the event has been booked for a while, but I guess in the Clippers defense they didn't know until Friday night when they advanced that there was a problem.
So yes, it's three games in three nights to open the series up, and now Friday night OFF before Saturday's game 4.
Note the game time Thursday night - 7:00pm.
