If it wasn't for you, we would have no idea where the team was staying, daily schedule etc. Thanks, Hammer

Billets & parents included in the "left out of the loop" column. At one time, there was an itinerary to follow, how things have changed in that department!

Absolutely right with that comment- "left out of the loop"

What am I missing here - whats up, what's changed, whats the problem?

We had bacon and eggs and pancakes with orange juice and water for breakfast today if anyone finds that interesting as well ;)

Regarding the itinerary - do you mean for the road trip?

I'm not aware if that used to go out, and now it doesn't?

Has anyone contacted the team on this? I appreciate it being brought to my attention but certainly don't want it falling on my head, which in a round about way it might if its ending up here!

As a parent of a player It was nice to know that you guys were all safe and sound on your journey yesterday... as for an Itinerary?? I leave that up to my kid to keep me informed... Thanks for the blog!! I love it!!

Hammer - did not mean at all to land this on you, just commenting as last year there was an actual itinerary emailed out as to their schedule and hotel name & numbers etc., in advance of them leaving. So your updates are great and we really appreciate them. :)

This is ridiculous!! As a billet/family member do we really need to know every second where they are from the team mgmt and staff. I myself don't require an itinerary from the team as to where they are staying etc. I have cell phone numbers if something comes up that I have to talk to my player about in an emergency. It is awesome that Hammer is giving us the updates he is so we know they are safe. That is the only thing that should be a concern for us. I think the team management have other concerns like running a winning hockey team rather than an itinerary for billet families and parents. Get a life. Thanks Hammer. This is the first time I had looked at your blog while they are on the road and much appreciate what you have done. It was cool to see the sites and the other rinks that we don't get to.
Thanks again.
