Snakes 4 Dogs 1

The Dogs return from their Interior Road Trip with 2 out of a possible 6 points after a 4-1 loss in Vernon this afternoon against the defending RBC Cup Champion Vipers.

The Dogs had a great start with a Warren Muir goal 9:31 into the first period. Unfortunately they couldn't hold the lead for more than a shift as the Vipers came back less than 30 seconds later to tie it up at 1-1 after the first.

The second period saw a weird one put the Vipers up 2-1 as a shot bounced off of Frank Slubowski's glove and rolled in early into the period. And that would be it as the Vipers controlled the remainder of the period adding 2 more goals for a 4-1 lead after 40. The Dogs did their best to stage a comeback in the 3rd but they couldn't find the net.

Next up - 2 home games. Salmon Arm Thursday and Nanaimo Saturday.

And a long bus trip home.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
