U-G-L-Y.
That's the best way to describe the Dogs 7-2 loss in Nanaimo last night. While the Dogs win-loss record isn't pretty this season, they haven't lost more than a couple where they looked as bad as they did last night. At times the group looked out of sync, unfocused, disinterested....etc.
So, as I said, it was ugly.
As I've also said before - it's not how you fall, it's how you get back up that matters.
The Dogs have shown on several occasions recently that they are capable of bouncing back from a less than stellar effort. And that's a good thing, because it won't be an easy one tonight as they are down to the Island Savings Centre in Duncan to take on the Cowichan Valley Capitals.
Get it all on Port Alberni Safeway Bulldogs Hockey on 93.3 The Peak FM with the pregame show at 7:15 and the play-by-play at 7:30.
Former Bulldog Michael Lee Teslak will be my second intermission feature guest so don't miss it!
