Bulldogs Not Renewing Coach’s Contract
PRESS RELEASE
February 22, 2009
Alberni Valley Bulldogs President Andy Oakes has announced that the organization will not be renewing Bryant Perrier’s contract for the 2009 – 2010 season.
“The ownership group of the Bulldogs organization has not been happy with the state of the club over the past year and feel a complete change in direction is needed in order for the hockey club to be what all the corporate sponsors, season ticket holders and fans want the Bulldogs organization to be.” “This has not been an easy year for anyone associated to this team and change is needed to bring the Bulldogs back to be a top team in the BCHL.” Stated President Andy Oakes.
“We thank Bryant Perrier for his efforts over the past two seasons with our organization”.
Andy Oakes will be making an official statement and will be available for questions and interviews on Monday February 23, 2009 at the Weyerhaeuser arena in Port Alberni from 11:00 am until 12:00.

That was quicker than I thought - looking forward to the new coach and management announcements, I wonder if that will be today?
The OHA organization is a mess and all they've done is drag a fine organization right down the drain, all for the benefit of the Kerr boy's development.
I understand he got traded the second coach Perrier got power, albeit temporarily, over the team
