Troy Rutkowski scored the winner last night as Team Pacific remained perfect at the 2009 World U17 Challenge with a 4-3 overtime win over Team Atlantic.
OK, I guess not "perfect" But unbeaten. At this tournament, perfect is a regulation win, worth three points, while a overtime win is worth just two.
The win sets up a big game tonight with first place on the line as Team Ontario (3-0) provides the opposition for Pacific. Both teams have already booked their semi final tickets for tomorrow, it's just a matter of who finishes where and who they'll face.
Plain and simple - both teams will want to go in on winning note.
Catch the game on 93.3 The Peak FM or on our website at www.933thepeak.com Broadcast start time for us is 6:55pm.
You can also catch the broadcast on SHAW TV, I believe they get underway at 7:00pm
Don't forget about the Alberni Valley Bulldogs, they are back at it after their Christmas break tomorrow as they visit the Victoria Grizzlies. More on that later.
