Dogs Make Trade..... Port Alberni Safeway Bulldogs Broadcasts Debut TONIGHTon THE PEAK!

I have been informed that the Dogs have made a trade....It has been approved by the league. This IS NOT the trade Bryant Perrier mentioned during his interview on THE PEAK this morning regarding Harrison May.

As soon as I get the details I will pass them along to you, provided they don't arrive as I'm down for the count for my pregame nap!

I am thrilled on behalf of 93.3 The Peak FM and the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group to welcome PORT ALBERNI SAFEWAY as the new title sponsor for our Alberni Valley Bulldogs Broadcasts.

Thank you Safeway for your support, and please thank Safeway by supporting them with your business!

The Peak will broadcast all 60 of the Bulldogs regular season games, and any subsequent playoff games.

All broadcasts begin 15 minutes before puck drop with our pregame show that features interviews from coaches on both sides of the puck.

Besides all the play-by-play, our intermissions will feature interviews with Bulldogs players and alumni, and coaches and broadcasters throughout the league.

We always welcome your questions/concerns/comments/suggestions/complaints or just plain HELLOS to the press box during our broadcasts. Let us know where you are listening from by SENDING US AN EMAIL BY CLICKING THIS LINK

Rick Schievink is back for another year beside me at home games providing colour commentary and analysis. He is a former Bulldogs Assistant Coach, and he is now Head Instructor at the Port Alberni Hockey Canada Skills Academy.

Dan "the stats man" Tisserand will attend as many games as possible to give us more in-game player and team stats than we are able to tabulate by ourselves.

Every broadcast ends with the Post Game show where we recap the game with a summary, stats, and game awards.

On select home games we will also take our Post Game show on the road to Boston Pizza in Port Alberni. The first such show is TONIGHT so I hope to see you along with Bryant Perrier, Bulldogs players and myself at Boston Pizza!

Catch all the games in the Alberni Valley on your radio on 93.3 The Peak FM, through our listen live link on our website at www.933thepeak.com and of course through the BCHL Fanzone which will offer audio and video broadcasts this year.
