I don't know about you....but I think the new 3rd jersey is incredible. Good job Jess Moser.
It's a snarling Bulldog....with a cool A V behind him. I love the design and the colour scheme.
Maybe I'm not a good judge, as I liked every previous 3rd jersey the team has had. This one is the best of the bunch in my humble opinion though.
The biggest news of the night was the details of the partnership between the Bulldogs and the See Group of Companies and AV Minor Hockey that I had the pleasure to announce to a packed house at Boston Pizza.
The partnership is a three year agreement. The Bulldogs and the See Group of Companies have committed THIRTY THOUSAND dollars to Minor Hockey for player and coach development.
All Alberni Valley Minor Hockey Rep Teams will now be wearing the Bulldogs jersey and carrying the Bulldog name. The Alberni Valley Minor Hockey logo still adorns the shoulders of the new Rep Team sweaters.
I'm not involved in Minor Hockey, but I'm sure this is exciting news for anyone who is. From the players who will now be playing as BULLDOGS to the coaches and players who will benefit from better tools and knowledge to teach and play....This is exciting.
A huge tip of the cap to the Bulldogs and the See Group of Companies for giving to the community like this, and an equal acknowledgement to Minor Hockey for being receptive to all of this!
Sadly I took a camera with dead batteries. Luckily, one of my favorite newspaper people (and BLOG reader) said she would send me some pictures so look for those in the near future.
