The Bulldogs have been busy lately not only with recruiting and committing players but also with the recent AGM in Clipperland.
Now the last 24 hours-LOTS of news. Crazy actually the amount of news for JUNE!
First a press release from the team yesterday came out regarding the commitment of three players up front: Justin Castagna, Brett Mohler, and Brandon Gracel.
The media has also just received word from the Bulldogs that Adam Baldassarre has been traded to the Prince George Spruce Kings for future considerations.
There are some nice words for Adam in the press release that were nice to see.
I wish Baldy all the best and believe he battled hard all year and improved drastically as a player. He is a great personality, a true unique beauty. Best of luck Adam.
A further press release from the team also was released, in which it was announced that the team has committed to local product Robert Lindores for a full-time basis next season.
Robert is a great kid and well supported and a local player to boot. The fans in Alberni certainly love to cheer on their "own" but they also expect a very high level of commitment and work ethic from local players. I'm sure this is not news to Robert and he will do everything in his power to get ready for the season!
The press releases will of course be available on the Bulldogs Website
Special thanks to Dennis See for the heads up via the BlackBerry on this...much appreciated!
