Round 2 Predictions, 2 former Bulldogs further careers, Dogs prospect camp upon us.

Lets start first today with round 2 predictions.

Montreal vs Philly- Habs in 6
Pitts vs NY Rangers- Rangers in 6

San Jose vs Dallas- Stars in 6
Detroit vs Colorado- Avs in 7

Good news about a couple of former Bulldogs furthering their careers. I've said it before, and will again, the team and the billets/supporters here should be proud when a Bulldog moves on, whether he began or ended his career here or even just stopped along the way. Every player will tell you that no matter how long you play somewhere, there is always someone in that situation that helped you out and played a part in them either getting settled in, getting better, or just making it through each day.

Congrats first to Andrew Ella, a Bulldog for the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 seasons before he was traded to Georgetown in the OPJHL after the end of last season. Andrew has received a scholarship to play at Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts for the Division III "Bison". Cool name! The school is about an hour out of Boston.

Another accomplishment for Andrew came in the form of a playoff MVP award for the Raiders this season.

Congrats to Andrew and family and all that helped him over his time here. You won't meet a nicer kid or a better family! Thanks to his old Billet mom Nancy Smeltzer for the heads up on Andrew.

Of course Andrew scored one of the most memorable goals in Bulldog history- a double OT game winner for 18, yes EIGHTEEN wins in a row.

Further congrats goes out to former Bulldog Kevin Noble who was traded to Quesnel at the conclusion of the 05-06 season before finishing his career with the Nanaimo Clippers. Kevin recently committed to Division I Mercyhurst next fall. Read more HERE

hey Hammer, thanks for posting the times of the games at prospect camp. Angel was hoping it started today. She's looking forward to seeing some of the guys again, especially her fave, Adam Hout.
